:usaI just complete a 20 acre logging job for an old customer. Because rain would have prevented a stream crossing we had to move fast. I had 3 saw hands and a guy to load and haul, but had no skidder available. The Cat 289 did a great job skidding the large pines and moving logs into postion for the loader! At the end of the day I filled the tank with about 15 gallons of diesel. What a great machine!
20 acres in a day, with a skidsteer? How many tons of wood?
We removed 10 loads at 30 tons per load. It took 5 days and the machine used about 15 gals per day doing it part. :usa
oh,ok, thought you were saying 20 acres in a day. That's impressive, but doable in big wood. No pics?
