Hi, new here. We have a 2022 Cat 299D3 XE skid steer here at work and need to change attachments. No one seems to know the process of relieving the hydraulic pressure so we can't connect the hoses. Anyone know how to do this? I know it has to be simple. We have searched videos but nothing has worked. Thanks for any help with this.
Push the couplers on the machine, inward by had, then attach hose. When removing, push hose and coupler inward towards machine to dump pressure, then remove hose. My particular machine has a button that you push, that relieves both hoses at same time. Hope this helps
Thanks, this machine has 4 connections, this attachment used two of those. It too has a switch inside that should release pressure but now isn't. May be an issue with the machine. We finally got it on but had to use a screwdriver to bleed some fluid from the fittings. Not what you want to do.
