Cat 306E2 R joystick pull back hydro question.

306E2 Mini Hyd Excavator E2W03692 so when i use the left control as part of rotation of the cab at the same time that i am pulling back on the Right control to raise the boom: The control seems to feel as if i am doing both at the same time but pulling back on the Right control just a little bit - it feels slow, then when/if i continue to pull back a little bit more somethign seems to slam into "high power" but its super strong, just doesnt feel like a smooth transition. another way of describing it that when im using both controls the same time, pulling back on the right seems to have two different modes. a low slow, then a WAMM its moving heavy rock or dirt. I dont know if this is as expected for the unit, or if this is something i can look over and fix. I am mostly posting here because if it is just a performance issue - ill let it go, i just am careful to stop the roation of cab (Left control side to side) or not start it before moving the boom up (pull back on R joystick) - however, if this is something that means worse problems could be ahead then ill stop to make the repairs. Thank you in advance.

It might pay you to strip and reseal the RH joystick pilot valve. You could have a sticking spool or a tired/broken spring. The problem could even be in the universal joint.

There is nothing for a Series II machine but this procedure from a Series I will probably be close. Just don't assume everything is identical between the two models, the pilot valve Part Numbers are different.
