My Cat 308 E2 CR is showing code 590-1 (1) . It is saying there is an Engine control module problem. The excavator will not crank. Does anybody have any advice on how to clear code or crank excavator?
Are you sure it's not 590-9.? Post a Serial Number please.
we had a 308 E2 CR FJX sn. with an engine ECM issue. Had another one same sn prefix with an engine speed sensor capacitor failure. engine would not start in either case.
