Hi everyone, We need to replace the boom pressure switch of cat 312 7dk model.its original part no was "102-8042" but in the past one technitian replaced it with the part no "126-2938X00" 20ps 767-8 T8z and it worked fine untill now. We have to replace it again.so i need to know that can i replace it with the boom pressure switch of cat 312b with the part number "106-0180..." 20ps-767-8 or 9 K9z Or can i replace it with part no "126-2938X00" 20ps 767-8 P8z Which is very close to the present pressure switch's part number ? I do not know the differences of these switches and any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
Firstly, the only numbers that matter are the first seven digits. Over time, the original number 1028042 becomes 1060096, which becomes 1262938, which becomes 3495382, so any of these four numbers will be OK. In the real world if you were to order any of the first three numbers from a Cat dealer, you would receive the latest and greatest number 3495382. 1260180 is a different part and not correct.
Thank you very much for your information sir.it is a great help for me. And i would like to know the suitable replacement for cat 312 Implement pressure switch with the part number 102-8041. I think this is the same pressure switch that use as travel pressure switch in this machine as well. If i am incorrect please help me. Thank you.
It is listed as a "travel & implement pressure switch" for a wide variaety of 300-Series excavator models. 102-8041 updates to 119-9985, which in turn updates to 349-5383.
Thank you sir for your help.these information solved my confusion. Thanx a lot.
