Cat 312bl blank display and swing brake

Evening and thanks for all the info I've learnt from the forum already, this is my first post.... We have a cat 312bl currently running in manual First problem the swing brake wouldn't release , using the override switch at back of the armrest, display blanks out as slew turns. Second problem the display doesn't light up even when in normal mode with no slew We have electrical schematics, and troubleshooting guide for 300 series hex monitor and pump delivery pressure sensor Getting a green and yellow light on ecu on cab floor We think it's the display, or poss the pump delivery sensor, have been told 'there should be 2 constant live and ignition live and 2earths' but we can't find what should b telling the controller to send power on k997 blue Anyone have previous experience of this issue? Any idea/advice greatly appreciated! 9fs00245 <9k hours Continuing to load 8wheelers at sand face, and checking levels manually daily, but it's sketchy, swapped swing solenoid in 2018, hydraulic oil and filters replaced 2021 and skimmed head '22

Here is some info on the engine/pump controller. I have some newer docs on the same system but they are too big to post here. Do you have an electrical schematic.? I show the latest versions as RENR1115-02.

Tareversomuch Nige Plenty there to keep us occupied, yes we have an electrical schematics , and have been chasing this k997 everywhere when we get chance. Succeeded in getting a dewatering pump on a raft going today, not quite sure how, so better get on with the cat now. Should the display come back on when switched back out of bypass on back of arm rest, am assuming the swing brake issue is cause/ related to the display going out ,however can't read any codes due to blank screen?

I, as have many here, had corrosion issues with the connector on the floor board, behind the trim panel, for the monitor. Before taking anything apart, shine a light into the monitor and turn on the machine. Perhaps just the backlight is out?

Thanks Heymccall Will try that when I'm loading before The sun comes up The ecu on the floor has some corrosion, been checking feeds to it, working on why it's got the yellow light on as well as green ,we realise there's two display \light feeds and the cab/dome light circuit are linked , we get a control voltage of about 5v on the display and don't know for sure if this is normal?

Thanks, esp Nige Fyi , the fairies came and fixed it over christmas! Might have something to do with removing plastic panels flooring mud etc and letting some air circulate after toothbrush clean of ecu
