Hi all Have a code that's popped up i'm guessing its not to bad as all seems to be working as it should bar (Engine fault 97-3 service Required) come up on the screen. When you go into it it gives me a code of 1192-7. I've been looking on Google but cant find it anywhere bar a link to this site that's not answered after he or she is asked for a ser number. OK So my serial number is ..... ONFZOO430 Its a Cat 313Gc with the Code of 1192-7 If someone has the the answer that would be amazing.
Hi. These are different codes. You need to take a photo of your monitor with these two codes, what they look like. preliminary information on codes 97-3 Water In Fuel Indicator : Voltage Above Normal 1192–7 Main Implement Valve: Mechanical System Not Responding Properly Solenoid Valve - Test
That happens a lot of the time. People just don't come back after being asked for information. A Serial Number is key to finding any relevant information to whatever issue is present. When was the last time that the water and sediment was drained from the bottom of the fuel filter/water separator.? I would suggest that you do that as a first step and see if the Code goes away. 1192-7 - Main Implement Valve: Mechanical System Not Responding Properly - Main pump high pressure without a commanded operation. See attached. It appears as trhough ET will be required because at Step 2 in Table 14 the procedure calls for all Logged Diagnostic Codes be cleared.
Top Job thanks for this. 97-3 Water In Fuel Indicator : Voltage Above Normal. That makes sense, the water sensor was changed a few months back. could be an dodgy sensor. or there is water in the fuel and its working fine. Will take a look and thanks again for the help.
Let me suggest that it would be good practice to open the drain valve on the water separator every time the tank is filled with fuel. It's called preventive maintenance and can become habit-forming. Question: Do you have an Operation & Maintenance Manual for it.?
I'm 99% sure that the water presence sensor wire was simply torn off.
Hello team, I have a fault on the 374D series excavator PAS code 1192-7, no movement of boom, stick, and bucket, I need a diagnostic.
Go up the page to Post #3. The troubleshooting procedure is attached to it. It is the same procedure for your 374D. You will need Cat ET to perform certain steps of the procedure.
