I have a 2002 CAT 315 CL that seems sluggish when running the dial on any setting. It does progressively idle up on each dial position. If I switch the manual toggle under the right arm rest to manual it seems to come alive. Tracks faster and all around seems to have more power. The serial number prefix is CFT. Is there any calibrations that need to be done that I can do myself or is it time for the CAT Tech to come look at it?
Update- Talked to the service manager and mechanic at the local CAT store and they printed off the calibration procedures for calibrating the governor control. I'll see if that works next time mother nature decides to cooperate.
