Hello everyone, i operate the excavator of the title (2003 model). Yesterday we shut it of for a break and afterwards we could not start it. The issue seems to be Electrical. I measured 25+ Volts at the batteries(is that too low?), and could track it up to the key switch, that has the same Voltage. All the breakers(battery and cabin side) measure ok (is there any breaker other than the 2x80Amp at the batteries and the little drawer on the seat?) . The key switch seems to work ( contacts do have continuity when key is turned), but the starter does not crank. All that would point me to a starter issue, but the monitor in the cabin and the rest of the cabin switches and instruments have no power also. Has anyone had any similar issue or have any idea where/what to check next?
It sounds as though an electrical schematic might be useful to help you trace power. Post a Serial Number to identify exactly which machine you have. There are over 30 different models of 345B.
