Cat 416B Boom Cylinder

I am trying to remove the retainer nut on the end of my main boom cylinder from my cat 416b and cant seem to get it to budge no matter what I torque it with. Am I missing something? There are no set screws that I can see or find. Any information would be a huge help.... Thanks
