Hey all. Looking for some advice on purchasing a backhoe for the farm. Looking at a cat 436 from the early 90s which appears to be in good shape and has 10,500 hr on it roughly. Any advice on issues to look for and a fair price would be greatly appreciated.
About 10 years ago there was a construction equipment life study done and it estimated the average life of a construction backhoe engine to be 8,500 hours in well maintained equipment.
