Hey guys we have a Cat 613 at work. Sometimes we can get a hi gear in reverse sometimes we can't, anybody know any tips or tricks.
On the 'A' (71M) and 'B' (38W) machines that transmission is shifted by cable. Its subject to wear. Check the cable at the shifter and the transmission end for binding. The cable is a Teleflex-Morse item. If that don't fix it may be time to visit your friendly Cat dealer and get him to have a look at your selector.
