Hi all - Just helping out with a 916 loader that has a wobbly front diff pinion bearing - Just hoping someone might have some pages from a workshop or parts manual for the breakdown & setup requirements & maybe a few pearls of wisdom. Looks like it can be taken out without removing the whole centre & crownwheel?? Appreciate it - Thanks. Jimbob
Yes, the pinion can be removed without removing the carrier.
oh, when setting up the pinion, it needs to have 6 to 10 lb.in of rolling torque and zero end play.
