Machine doesn't move in any gear right away. Disconnected neutral valve air line. Run engine at full throttle barely moves than after about 50 feet it starts to catch and moves normal. Still slips though under load. Checked trans pump pressure at filter 100psi. Pulled screen at suction its clean. Pulled filter at test port no metal. Any thoughts
Post your machine serial #, and Arrangement number and maybe Nige or one of the other Gentleman with access to SIS will post some solutions. Pressure sounds way to low. Is the oil levels all okay. How many hrs on machine. Any previous work repairs done. Hopefully someone will respond. Simon
2XB01175. Fluids are good. I have access to SIS. If im understanding correctly the modulating valve controls and maintains the pump pressure but i believe it has to build pressure to overcome the spring pressure.
Probably be pulling out control valve. who knows if 1 small piece of dirt in there. We had that on a Cat D7G Dozer. Had about 400Psi out of the charge pump and no shifting of transmission. Pulled apart and washed over and over till the last time we seen something flying threw the air when blowing. Put back together and all was okay. Shifted 100%. Make sure you use 2 gauges to check pressures in case 1 is faulty. It has happened to many a mechanic. Hopefully someone else chimes in. Simon
