We took off the lift cylinders because of hydraulic growling problem. One was by-passing. When my helper put cylinders back on he screwed up and reversed the left side hoses. He ran it for couple of minutes before it quit working altogether. I put the hoses back right, but it is still growling. Could it have caused damage to cylinders or?
Also on this machine is it a vane type pump for implements or a pump type? SER# CAT0928GVDJD00678
Implement hydraulic pump for your machine is a vane-type pump. It shares a common mounting together along with the Steering Pump which is a piston pump. The steering pump is mounted next to the housing, the implement pump is the one further away.
Does it growl when working the bucket too or just the boom?
It seems like the boom, (lift cylinders), and not much on the bucket, (curl cylinder). Thanks for responding.
