Have this cat 950g with the HEUI PUMP and the motor has weak power when lifting bucket with a load. The huei pump was replaced and now injectors will be checked out but i was wondering can the torque converter also cause this issue? I am thinking if I should pull the magnetic screen to check?
serial number please not sure what you mean by no power do you mean the engine tends to stall while lifting the bucket or does the lift speed slow down with engine speed unchanged ? is the machine in gear while trying to lift the load with the brake on? if so is the transmission neutraliser switch on and working correctly? Seriel 5gg10170 3126 engine. The engine stalls when lifting with load starts to bog down like it’s missing. But I don’t have any codes. I was wondering how to check the injector actuation presssure sensor because on the cat et the oil pressure status says unavailable but sometimes it will show 800 or 400 don’t know if it’s normal to say unavailable or should there be numbers at all time. And the range in the numbers appears to be the high pressure oil psi. Just want to know does it get these numbers from that senor.
Changed the huei pump because it failed the actuation test. Still no power so changed out the injectors all 6 now the loader runs better. One time just had to change the huei pump only this time the injectors as well. Didn’t do the injector cutoff test probably should of any way how will the cutoff test determine the bad injector just wondering for future reference.
Have you tested or replaced anything yet on the low pressure side of the fuel system such as lines, lift pump, banjo fittings, tank, etc, etc..?
IAP Sensor and rail pressure sensor May derate power. try to remove connector from rail pressure sensor. And check loader on load
