Please help,we have a CAT 988H loader. The operator is complaining about the inching pedal. His left foot angle is getting sore because the inching pedal is not working right. How do I adjust this pedal please. Can I adjust it manually or I have to use ET to adjust the pressures, please help.
The left pedal position sensor can be set up using the Operator Monitor but you will also need a Cat Click Box. If you don't have one, see the Click Box thread Page 3 starting at Post #51 for instructions on how to make something temporary with 2 pieces of wire, a Deutsch electrical connector socket & 2 Deutsch pins. HeavyEquipmentForums The only other option is to do the setting using Cat ET.
