Hey everyone got a question I’ve got a 13 289c2 I’m wonder what is the actual engine differences between the 289c vs 289c2 I know the c make more power then the c2 but I heard just the injection pump is turned down ? Can I have the pump adjusted to bring the hp back up to the c level or is there other engine differences?
If I remember correctly, the C2 model was released with the pump turned down to get past an emissions reg for another year, but the power was ‘preserved’ by reducing the track length, and thereby reducing the resistance when turning. I believe the pump was the same, just turned down. Sorry for the delay, just saw your post while looking for something else
