Had 2 head gaskets fail in last 3 years , head measurements are good,sleeve projection is at is lowest measurement,-.0025,cat doesn't make shims to left the sleeves,so i was wondering about the head tightening procedure,manual does not mention it,to re due the procedure after running engine ?
Any pics off the head, gasket, and block where the gasket failed? Did gasket fail in same spot. What symptoms of failed head gasket are you having? Do head bolts turn easy until contact with head? Did you reuse head bolts? Was machine over heat what operating temp does it usually run at?
Did you reuse the head bolts. It might be time to replace them. Did you use a cat head gasket?
Got it all back together again ,old gasket in garbage,cant remember but i think it is same piston,#2,symptom was coolant disappearing,there was 20 psi in coolant tank,also noticed burned marks on head,1 2 3 4 that were hard to clean ,this time i used new bolts,yes always used cat head gaskets,over heating good question,thanks for asking,going to check termerstat, never have.
I have seen bad air compressors put air psi in coolant, did you have head resurfaced?
Compressor was checked,had the head check they told me is was good,
