    They don’t “translate” as such. 23Y is the prefix - the D3B model number reference if you will. It is one of seven D3B models that were all built in Japan. Each one had slightly different model characteristics. 01772 indicates that it was Machine Number 1772 of the 23Y-model D3B to go down the production line.
