Cat d3c xl Series 3 with 3046 motor cold weather starting procedure

I need to go pick up a Cat d3c XL Series 3 with the 3046 motor. Now, it is cold here about 10 degrees outside. Does this Cat have glow plugs? If so, do I turn the key to start and look for a light or something on the dash to start it? Or, do I count to 30 seconds or ? Any info would be great. I feel like a dummy for asking this. Thanks.
