Got buddy that had a fuel pump leak around the throttle shaft of his injector pump on a D4D. No real side to side play, but some in and out. The local diesel shop that does pump work doesn't want to touch it. He has a call into the CAT dealer, but I suspect they will probably want an arm and leg for the pump. Looking for anyone that would know of a shop that might rebuild/service these pumps. Preferably some that is close to the central VA area. Tractor serial number is 83-j2646 and pump serial number is 4N686. Any help would be greatly appreciated especially if it can potentially be repaired in place fairly easily by my buddy.
