What is the approximate operating temperature of a D6C's final drives and transmissions? If the convertor gauge is accurate, what would the temperature be at the midpoint of the normal operating range?
If the trans is cooled with engine coolant it would be only cooled to about 180 deg F. I know the Red Line on the gauge is 275 deg F. Suspect around 225/230 but have never checked for sure. Later Bob
