Hello guys, I bought D6K. And i heard that only genuine parts and no analogs. But also heard tha can make frame modification and can use normal undecarriage is it true ?
What is the machine Serial Number..?
My local undercarriage guy has never done a d6k but thinking its possible. E ended up going with the system 1 at a price of about $20,000
We have a D6K in our fleet and we did it a month ago. About the dealer it was no possible to put anything else than original System One that cost more than the value of the machine. Our track guy has investigate and did it with regular track system. Many parts are the same as old D5M.
It depends on what Serial Number the machine is ........... Machines that have track frames with eight bottom rollers and 2 carrier rollers (8+2), are compatible with either SystemOne or Heavy-Duty Undercarriage. Any machine built with SystemOne undercarriage using seven bottom rollers and one carrier roller (7+1), cannot be converted to Heavy-Duty Undercarriage. The change from the 7+1 undercarriage design to the 8+2 design involved significant changes to the track frames and to the final drives. As a result it is not possible to retrofit the later design of 8+2 track frames on to an earlier serial number machine that was originally built with 7+1 track frames.
Hello, my S.N. is DHA02379
That particular Serial Number can be converted from SystemOne to Heavy Duty Undercarriage. If you would like to send me a message via HEF with your email address (click on my username and use the "start a conversation" icon) I will gladly send you a copy of whatever documentation that exists regarding the conversion.
Right now i need track chaines sprokets and track rollers maybe someone knows suppliers ?
It's difficult to suggest the names of potential suppliers without knowing your geographic location.
