CAT EL240B overheating and oil loss

My machine was overheating, I changed the overflow tank, regulator, and cap before figuring out my water pump belt was broken. Changed that and ran fine 8-10 hrs, then on my next pre-check I lost about 2L of oil, and there was some present in my radiator. Just wondering if a bad water pump is likely, or if it’s a blown head gasket, and how I could go about checking before tearing into it. Thank you!
