Looking at a cat gp25k forklift. Very clean with 3200 hours. Any feedback would be great good or bad. Thanks
Like any other piece of equipment you can get a great buy or a piece of crap. Ask the seller if they have maintenance records, especially pm's, this way you will know if the oil has been changed and greased regularly. Cat and Mitsubishi have been together for a long time and produce as good a product as most, but being a used machine it's up to you to look it over. Load it to spec and make sure it lifts a load properly with no mast or carriage roller noises. Check the condition of the tires, as with any machine the tires can tell a lot about how the machine was operated. Check how well the transmission performs on a grade and while inching. Make sure all of the dash gauges and indicators work. And above all make sure it has good brakes that will stop it with a load on a grade.
