this is a back hoe jackhammer attachment i think. unable to upload a pic but it looks a triangle, very heavy and has the above id stamped on it. what does it fit and how much would it be worth?
It's actually an ARM (abrasion-resistant coated) ripper tip from a D11 tractor. Current list price $555.
nige what is the part number? is it 122-2552 01 own 70? where could i post it for sale? it has never been used. i can not seem to pull up the actual pic and number by searching cat parts. thanks for the info.
The Part Number under which it is sold is 122-2552. I have no idea where you could post it for sale as I would imagine that there are not many companies using D11's in the US outside open-pit mining. Here's the graphic for it from the D11R Parts Book. I would also add that it is not a currently available Part Number from Cat (It's made to order only), having been replaced by slightly different designs of tip over the years. The Part Number probably dates from the mid-90's.
