my friends dad is a field wrench for a deer dealer.he works on everything! he says he repairs cat machines with parts held in komatsu boxes, and repairs komatsu machines with cat parts! care to comment!
It's a lazy shop and they store Cat parts in what ever boxes they have laying around when they come?
I've worked on both and think some one is pulling your leg. The Komatsu parts would be in a gold plated box and the Cat parts would be in a heavy cast iron box. I can pretty well guarantee you about the only parts that can be used on either machine would be a diode.
