How to replace grease fitting for Caterpillar 315c TRACK tensioner?
Is there a guard over the fitting giving you trouble and that's why you asked the question? More info and a serial number would be good. If that's the case, the bolts that hold the guard on are tack welded so they can't be undone. You may be able to lift the machine up and get in there from underneath with a grinder to wash the welds off, but if not you'll need to remove the adjuster assembly and do the job on the bench.
