Hi All., We have a Caterpillar 428 here in the UK that we’re bringing back to life on our YouTube channel, we’ve done the engine and want to replace the injector lines from the CAV DPA pump as they’re on borrowed time after suffering from being in a severe weather climate up in Scotland! I believe the engine is a Perkins 4236 but it looks like it has Perkins 1004 pencil type injectors with the top entry fuel feed, I ordered some for a Perkins 4236 and they’ve come as the side fuel feed! Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction of replacement injector lines for the 416/428 part numbers or equivalent replacement sets for all 4? Thanks Ian
Post a machine Serial Number. That gets you the Cat part numbers for the injector lines that can be crossed to Perkins or aftermarket parts.
