Hello, Any one with experience placing original steering clutch discs back in place after having removed them? The dozer steering clutches worked fine before removing them. I have heard there can be problems due to the fact they need to go back in as they came out.
We did lots of steering clutches we never worried about getting the back in the same placement stack height was important though
Pay attention to those that have hooked tooth wear on the plates and wear on the drums that can cause clutch plates to hang up on release.
