Anyone know what the wheel nut torque is for a Caerpillar 775 truck ?Also which way do the bevelled washers go ?Buddy of mine called me up and said I don't know bu can find out.
Torque for nuts ... 1210 ± 55 N·m (890 ± 40 lb ft) NOTE: Be sure all wheel and mounting rim surfaces are free of grease and oil before assembly. Put 4C-5592 Anti-Seize Compound on faces of washers and threads of nuts before assembly. I always put the flat part of the washer against the wheel but it probably doesn't matter.
