I'm doing some research for a scratch built model project. Appearance wise, how similar is the D7C to the D7G in regards the the whole hood unit and the size of the undercarriage? I understand the machine went through many upgrades and changes over the years, but how much the the overall base of the machine change? Thanks for any help and info.
Can be fairly many iterations of nose guard grills dependent on year s/n ranges, blade hardware or types, some bulged to the lower many just flat. The engines vary tremendously natural aspirated vs turbocharger, variations in hand/foot controls, levers to rear for cable drives, hand clutches in floor or hydraulic controlled dash mounted and so on. Not much remained common between those two specific models. Best bet search the two model types on images or on equipment sites with photos. Comparison shop.
