Changing Hydraulic fluid and cleaning suction strainer on TL230

I have 500 hrs on my TL 230 and about a 100 hrs. has been done in a one-way detent mode with a cutter. Manual says to replace hydraulic oil sooner than regular maintenance interval (1000 hrs) if used in this manner. The owners manual has one removing the engine coolant and radiator, which also has a 1000 hr interval. My question is can I do the hydraulic oil change and suction strainer cleaning without messing with the engine coolant and radiator removal. Thanks for any advice. Duke
