cofferdam alternatives

Hi all- we've got a minor stream diversion gig coming up, and i'm interested in some feedback from those who've used the larger flood control sandbags with lifting straps attached, as well as those who've used the water filled tubes to create cofferdams and water stops. Our application is a low velocity stream, +/- 2' deep, in which we need to excavate along the channel bank. "Regular" sandbags are an option, but painful to remove later on. Curious as to the viability of the larger bags or the tubes. Sheet piling is an option, albeit too expensive in our application, IMO , due to small scale. Dirt dam not allowed either. thanks

I have used Aqua Barriers on several different occasions and have had very good luck with them. They seal better than anything I have ever used and are easy to maintain (just top them off when needed) the set up is easy, just roll them out and fill. They are baffled and as such they will not roll if set up correctly. They come in various lengths and heights to fit the situation, I have used them in lengths up to 100' and 8' height.
