Good day We have been dealing with a issues where the excavator was stuck fast due to some form of control lock out, we made some information how to by-pass failed parts to get the machine moving. Now try and get them to look for the correct solenoid. People just see a coil and quit looking, even when you tell them where to look.

No, no. You've given some nice descriptions with illustrations. Someone should be able to add further guidance on a case by case situation if needed. Some folks just can't read and therefore should have a tech come visit.
