Coolent travels thru a water level senser

Have you ever heard of coolent traveling thru a water level senser, between the copper wire and insulation, all the way to the engine controller and corodes all the pins in the wire conection. Then starts traveling up the wire harness to the dash. 2007 pete. Destroys the engine controller and the wire harness. If sombody asked me to do this I would have told them it can't be done. Check your water level sensers and see if there's coolent getting in the conection. wes

Saw that 30 years ago on GM cars. It was a coolant temp sender, but it did the same wicking thru the wire and screw up the computer. Initial complaint was "sweet smell" in the passenger compartment.
