cummins big cam valve adjustment,which stroke?

I had my rocker boxes off and all the rockers loose,how can you tell if the A position is to adjust valves on 5 or 2? Ineed a starting point like on a cat where you have a line-up pin for TDC1.Can anybody help?Thanks
