I have a couple customers with a CAC hose after the aftercooler to the intake manifold (the already cooled air) that keeps blowing out after long usage. Right now the factory hose looks just like a black radiator hose and evidently is marginal for the job. It is a 2-1/2" inlet and 2" outlet. It goes in, over about a foot and a half and then down about 4" to the intake. I have found some pieces on the web that could work but they either have no beads on the ends or no extension to take up the foot and a half distance. Is there some manufacturer out there who would take down the specs and build it out of aluminum with the bend, beads, and possibly a the flared end (else we can make that up with a short stepped hose)?
You've got the pipe already, just get a cheapie bead roller for tubing. Might be worth the investment. They're priced all over the place.
