Custom/Universal Valve Guides?

I have an engine apart, it is a Lister and it needs valve guides. We got some standard ones but the holes in the head are loosey-goosey, the guides are all right. They are some kind of hard material that won't knurl. It is a low performance engine so we think that anything that can fit would be all right. 7mm valve stem diameter, rather small for the custom ones we have seen so far. What is your favorite source for these if you have one? We don't care if they are iron, bronze, whatever, we just want the engine back in one piece.

Do you have a buddy with a lathe? Push come to shove how about making some from bar stock? https://www.mcmaster.com/bronze-bar-stock 5/8 diameter of the 932 is about $20.00 for a foot. Not sure what the best material is for a valve guide. Or they also offer iron bar stock. https://www.mcmaster.com/iron-bar-stock
