d2 3j steering clutch ceased

i realise I've got to split the track and remove the final drive complete.i think the steering drum comes out with it. what sort of tool do I need to press the pack to be able to remove the collets/ spring clips? thanks in advance red diesel

    You go in from the top and remove the pinion and the clutch drums as a unit. Go to the ACMOC BB and you will find lots of savey help.
