That’s only part of it. “A” means it’s Active and 039 is the identifier of the ECM that registered the Code. What you are missing is the 4-digit Component Identifier and the 2-digit Failure Mode.

How are you accessing Codes.? TBH I thought it was possible to access them from the Operator Monitor but there does not appear to be a Service menu available.

Finally was able to get back at this machine I accessed the codes by holding the two buttons down AO 39. 70-03 AO. 39. 96-03 A0 39. 246-09 4102. HRS ON UNIT complaint on unit is that when it’s hot, they can’t get it to restart I think they may have given it a shot of ether to get it to go. Thanks for your help on this.

OK, so your Active Codes are: - A 039.70-03 - Parking brake switch - voltage above normal. A 039.96-03 - Fuel level sensor - voltage above normal. A 039.246-09 - CAN Datalink - Abnormal update rate. None of the above will have any effect on starting the engine AFAIK. However with 70-03 Active the machine should not be able to move. Is that the case.?

No, it seems to operate like it should

In that case I would suggest to have a bash at troubleshooting the 246-09 Code, just in case. See attached.

Decided to try and simulate the problem today. Put a fuel pressure gauge in the fuel filter. Initial cranking, unit has approx 5 psi but after operating, unit will drop off to 0. The gauge is in the bleed port of the fuel filter not the water trap filter. Should my pressures be higher?

Fuel pressure seems to be way off. It should be up around 20-22psi if the SysOp is to be believed. Has anyone tried draining water/sediment from the fuel tank recently, or is the vent in the tank cap blocked.? How long is it since the inline fuel filter between the tank and the transfer pump was changed.? See attachment, Item Ref #7.
