Did you weld the center tube and now it's leaking? clean it up and epoxy the cracks if that's the case.
Goughy, what's the part number for the tank? Seems like there were a number of bottom radiator tank engineering changes, and several different part numbers. I don't know what changes were involved. Try Swantrax in W.A., they have a lot of items that are not listed on their website.
Are you sure.? Usually something like that would be cast steel which is much more amenable to a welding repair than cast iron.
Nige, I'm pretty sure the D4 7U bottom radiator tank is cast iron. They used to be a sought after item in their day, as owners using them for clearing would run into stumps and rocks, and smash them.
Gotcha. Obviously from back in the days before they manufactured exclusively steel castings.
