hi all ,i first spotted this machine some 10 years ago whilst working in British army sites ,it sits on display at the main entrance,i was passing this weekend and called in to see if it was still there,and it was the weather is taking its toll the pre cleaner has gone along with the exhaust ,the oil cap is missing,i hope to put my name on it if it is ever disposed off cheers graham
Hello D4C, I have a picture some where of that model dozer, it shows the tracks and blade on the ground as normal but the the rest of the dozer sat on its diesel tank and the nose pointing to the sky. The center pin on the equaliser bar had fallen out and as the dozer was traveling back or forward (not sure which) it wound itself into that position, not having the front mounted rams to connect the nose of the tractor with the blade.
