D5 Alarm Lite

I have a 87 d5 1DD-00487 dozer with the transmission alarm temp lite on just wondering where the sensor is located to check it out. Alarm comes on as soon as you start it up cold so a problem with sensor hopefully.

    Hard to see from your photo. Is the logo a gearwheel with a thermometer through the middle of it..?

    Transmission temperature signal. If you PM me your e-mail address I'll flash you off the Electrical Schematic for the machine and a few notes regarding where things should be on the tractor so that you can go looking.
