Found a diesel leak over the weekend that I traced to the 1/4'' pressure indicator line that runs from the side of the fuel pump to the pressure indicator. For now i plugged the line at the pump, my question is has anyone else had this issue and did you replace the line or just plug it at the pump and move on? Just looking at it, it seems to me that the hydraulic tank will have to be removed (which seems to be a pretty big task).... Looking for advice
i have pluged and have bypased hand pump ,the reason for that is if you use it you cut seals and leakes on alt and then causes real problem. we run 2 10k still have one got both new ,all that tell you is filter is plugging up, by time you see that on gage you will know from like of power. the new flex lines they have for oil presser lines works real good ,forget old line route new line in easey place. not a peace that i have not had hands on hundreds of times.
