Just rebuilt the torque converter but after a couple of hours it starts running hot. any ideas?
Did you check the clearance between the impeller, stator and turbine before you put it back together?
Did you strip the oil coolers ??? tctractors
My question is why did you rebuild the converter? I'm assuming it was not just for something to do in your "spare time". That might give some idea as to the current problem. Like TC asks what was done to cooler? Missing any shop towels?
