Got called out in the field the other day for our D6n blade would move up on its own. Removed the spool from the lift valve and found metal inside and it was scared and would not move freely. Put a new valve in and blade works fine but would drift. T/S cylinders and found right side bypassing, then noticed it was bent. This all happened the day after being very cold and machine was froze to ground. Is it possible to bend the cylinder by lifting machine to un stick it? Looking forward to warmer weather. Jason
Easily. Best thing you can do is to park the machine. If you run it anymore you will continue to gouge the tube
Ya the tube is junk that's where the metal in the valve came from. Guess cheaper to just park it as I have over $5000 in parts not including my labor.

It probably bent when the operator was pushing the blade down trying to break the front of the machine loose when it was frozen to the ground. This was in response to bigbob before he deleted his post.
