We recently bought a D6n with 2000 hours on it. The machine is great except the blade response is terrible. If you try to tilt it, you have to move the control all the way left or right then it will tilt slowly. We have had the dealer look at it 3 times, they checked pressures and adjusted the linkages and it is no better. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
How long does it take from level to full Tilt each way? What is the machine S.N.?
I should be by the machine tomorrow and will find out and let you know. Thanks for help on this. Chris
We got a d6n in the spring, the blade is very dependent on on engine speed. I am used to 750j john deeres, where the blade speed is always there. If you are not full throttle I have noticed it takes forever for the blade to move on the d6n.
What year is it? 2011 and newer the cat dealer should be able to calibrate the joystick to however you like it with their fancy laptop.
Eric/Vapor, our 6 has linkage blade control. I think it is an 04 so unfortunately, no computer calibration on the controls. Koecon, the s/n is bma13542. It takes about 1.5 seconds for it to tilt from level to full right or left by watching the blade. If you time it from the time the control is moved, it takes 2 seconds. We also tried a few different things today. If you bottom out the control, it hesitates then starts to move slowly then will speed up. It is just about impossible to grade with. By the time you get it to tilt, you have already gone 10 feet past where you needed it to tilt. It it even worse when the blade it touching the ground. Thanks for the help so far guys! Chris
