G'Day Y,all, looking at buying a D7H and would like to hear what y,all think of them good or bad, repair costs, fuel consumption etc any info appreciated.
I would take a D7G over a 7H any day.
i used to look after a D7HXR and it was a pretty good machine, pretty easy to service only drama would be the age of them and the hours getting high, 3306 engine are pretty bullet proof the electric's are pretty simple compared with later models, they run a piston pump and motor for the steering (and hyd functions) which will be pricey if they fail our one was serviced every 250hr from new and had got 16000hrs out of the original motor which was pretty good, we resealed the final drives at around 12,000hrs, apart from GET, oil leaks and track wear it wasn't being worked on too much but it wasnt working too hard either
